Steelite Engineering Limited was established by M. P. Shah as an M. P. Shah Entrerprise is Pioneer in India to Manufacturer Cable Tray, Hot Dip Galvanising, Over Head Line Materials, Earthing & Lightning Products, Copper Rods, Gratings, Walk Way, Transmission Line Towers, Sub Station Structure for Industrial and Energy applications, with a strong portfolio of Indian and Export customers and projects.

The Green Energy Division was established with the vision of globalising leading Edge Renewable Technologies based on a competitive and qualified Indian Manufacture, thus making India a hub of manufacturing and Execution of both Indian and International Renewable Energy Projects being Make-in-India.

Steelite Capella Wind was founded by Steelite Engineering Ltd as joint venture with Goliath Wind in 2015 with the mission to cater the world market with the unique Steelite Capella Wind Turbine make-in-India. Steelite Capella Wind is head quartered in Mumbai, India with a sister company in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Ultra Direct Drive Generator Design in welded tube structure on a casted main bearing assembly with 94% efficiency, replaceable/redundant units and elimination of high risk components maximizes performance and facilitates localisation.

Down-tower placement of converter unit ensure fire safe and voluminous easy-to-manufacture Nacelle.

Advanced Lattice Tower Design designed with standard profiles minimizes tower, foundation and installation cost and allow for near site manufacture and at site assembly. Maintenance Free bolts eliminates service.

The Joint Ventures will ensure an effective and efficient Indian supply chain allowing to develop floating wind in the whole region, introducing unlimited amount of local clean energy.
Floating Wind allows unlimited Clean Energy as there is no space or depth limitation.
Can be combined with solar panels in a Hybrid Solution  for additional production  of up to 20% of nominal wind capacity.

  • STEELITE SATH is a prestressed-concretefloating platform consisting of two cylindrical and horizontal hulls with conical ends linked to each other through bar-frame structures.
  • The hulls are shell structures with circular or ovoidal cross section. They are internally stiffened and divided into compartments by cross bulkheads. The tower support is fixed to the floating elements through another auxiliary structure.
  • In order to increase the natural periods in pitch and roll oscillations, the floating elements are attached to some flat and horizontal plates arranged submerged in the lower area of the platform.
    These elements are made of solid slabs lightened with a ribbed structure.
  • Finally, the platform is moored with a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system that allows STEELITE SATH to rotate around as a weathervane, helping yaw control system to maintain the rotor plane facing the wind. SPM and platform ship shape allows also lower environmental loads in the mooring lines.

  • The STEELITE SATH platform is moored with a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system that allows STEELITE SATH to rotate around as a weathervane, helping yaw control system to maintain the rotor plane facing the wind.
